Revised: December 29, 2006 LCC Music Team Requirements And Expectations Music Team Mission Statement: "To stimulate seekers and engage believers in worship, through relevant music so they are prepared to hear, learn from, and apply God’s Word to their everyday lives." Requirements For Applicants: 1. Applicants must consistently attend LCC for a 6 month period prior to applying. 2. Applicants must have intermediate to advanced musical knowledge, abilities and experience. 3. Applicants must complete and turn in the Music Team Application (see Music Team Application for details). 4. Applicants must understand and embrace LCC’s Mission and Vision for ministry. 5. Applicants must attend New Horizon 101 and work toward LCC membership. Membership is not required to apply for the Music Team, however, it will be required if the applicant passes the audition and interview process. 6. Applicants must go through an audition and interview, which will be scheduled upon receipt of the application. 7. Once an applicant becomes a Music Team member, they are expected to participate in Music Brunch-N-Learns & Meetings (3-4 times per year). 8. Music Team members are expected to actively look for ways to grow spiritually (attend Community Groups, Common Ground Mid-week service, quiet time, etc.). 9. Music Team members are expected to attend required rehearsals. 10. Music Team members are expected to maintain and care for their instrument (including their voice for vocalists). Vocalists are required to have a tape or digital recorder to learn their parts.
